Studio Avery is a 756 square foot sound-treated first-floor production studio boasting an internal make-up and wardrobe room, additional flex space, and kitchen.
In the late 1800s and early 1900s the property at 502 Avery was owned by the J.F. Bruggeman Company, a prominent contractor in Allegheny City, or turn of the 19th century Pittsburg(h), Pennsylvania. 502 Avery was home to the company’s workshop, mill, and offices which employed over 100 employees and built many of the significant structures and houses in the city during that time.
In the 1950s, the orginal structure was torn down and a more modern industrial building was built. This newer structure eventually housed a commercial printing company and a photography studio followed. In 2012, 502 Avery was renovated into Orionvega‘s offices, Studio Avery, and additional video production common areas.
